Technical Descriptions:

Construction
The construction of RST VALVE GROUP CO., LTD.'s steel gate valves adheres to the stringent standards of API 600 and BS 1414. These valves feature an outside screw and yoke design, available with flange or welded ends, ensuring an unobstructed flow rate. The valves are crafted with cast bodies, covers, and yokes, with wedges that can be either forged or cast. All wedges are meticulously guided, and sealing seats are securely bolted or welded into the body, with overlays tailored according to Trim specifications. The valves boast a rising, non-rotative spindle and a robust bolted joint for the body-cover interface. Standard spindle threads are ACME2G-LH, ensuring precision and reliability.
These gate valves are primarily operated via a handwheel, with additional options for angle transmission, electric, or pneumatic actuators available upon mutual agreement. For larger diameters, the valves are equipped with bearings to facilitate easier control. The sealing material comprises pressed rings from expanded graphite and graphite plaited rings, meeting the stringent requirements of the Clean Air Act Amendment from 1990. Moreover, the valves can be customized with drainage, venting, inter-space relief, and bypasses as per special customer requests.
