Unlike ball valves, the globe valve is specifically engineered for precise flow regulation within pipelines. It features a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat within a generally spherical body. The term 'globe valve' originates from its spherical body that is divided into two halves by an internal baffle. This baffle includes an opening forming a seat where a movable plug can be screwed in to close the valve. The plug, often known as a disc or disk, is attached to a stem. Manual operation involves a screw action via a handwheel, while automated globe valves are equipped with smooth stems and operated by actuator assemblies.

- BODY.The body is meticulously forged from high-quality steel, adhering to the dimensional standards of API 602 and ASME B16.34. It is offered in both full and conventional port designs, as well as T-pattern or Y-pattern configurations to meet diverse application needs.
- BONNET.The bonnet, also expertly forged from steel, features an integral backseat and incorporates the stuffing box, designed in strict compliance with API 602 specifications.
- BODY-BONNET JOINT. Available in two designs: bolted bonnet or threaded and seal welded types for enhanced flexibility.
- GASKET.The bolted bonnet joint is designed with a contained, controlled compression spiral wound type gasket, ensuring reliable sealing.
- BONNET BOLTING.Bonnet bolting is crafted from robust alloy steel, meeting the stringent requirements of API 602 and ASME B16.34, ensuring optimal strength and durability.
- SEAT.An integral weld overlay forms the body seat, a critical component of the valve trim, ensuring a secure and tight seal.
- DISC.The disc, expertly forged from high-quality steel, is integral to the valve trim. Its seating surface is designed as either tapered or plug type. It is securely attached to the stem using a loose or swivel disc arrangement, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.
- STEMThe stem, also forged from steel, is an essential component of the valve trim. It includes an integral backseat shoulder that mates perfectly with the bonnet's backseat. The stem design complies with the dimensional standards of API 602.
- GLAND AND FLANGE.The innovative gland and gland flange assembly boasts a separate, two-piece design. This self-aligning feature ensures the flange can be unevenly tightened while the gland maintains perfect parallel alignment with both the stem and stuffing box, ensuring seamless operation.
- GLAND BOLTS AND NUTS.The robust steel/stainless steel gland bolt and nut assembly features a stud and double nut arrangement. This allows for the complete removal of the assembly when service is needed. Industry-standard thread full-length studs and nuts ensure easy replacement if lost or worn out.
- YOKE SLEEVE.Crafted from forged stainless steel, the yoke sleeve boasts a high melting point along with exceptional wear and corrosion resistance, ensuring durability and long-lasting performance.
- HANDWHEEL.The handwheel, forged from carbon steel in an open spoke design, offers robust construction and is appropriately sized for ease of operation.
