A globe valve, distinct from a ball valve, is engineered for precise flow regulation within pipelines. This valve features a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat within a generally spherical body. The two halves are separated by an internal baffle that forms a seat for the movable plug, also known as a disc. Operated manually by a handwheel or automatically by an actuator assembly, globe valves are essential for controlling fluid flow efficiently.

1. BODY.The body is crafted from forged steel and adheres to the stringent dimensional requirements set by API 602 and ASME B16.34 specifications. Available in both full and conventional port designs, as well as T-pattern or Y-pattern configurations, it offers versatility and robust performance.
2. BONNET.The bonnet is made from high-grade forged steel and features an integral backseat, incorporating a stuffing box designed to meet API 602 standards.
3. BODY-BONNET JOINT. Two designs are available: bolted bonnet or the threaded and seal welded type.
4. GASKET.The bolted bonnet joint design uses a contained, controlled compression, spiral wound gasket for reliable sealing.
5. BONNET BOLTING.Manufactured from durable alloy steel, the bonnet bolting conforms to API 602 and ASME B16.34 specifications, ensuring strength and longevity.
6. SEAT.The body seat features an integral weld overlay and forms part of the valve's trim, ensuring durability and reliability.
7. DISC.Crafted from forged steel, the disc is an integral part of the valve trim. Its seating surface is designed in a tapered or plug type to ensure secure closure. The disc is attached to the stem using a flexible, loose, or swivel arrangement.
8. STEMThe stem is crafted from high-quality forged steel and forms a critical part of the valve trim. It features an integral back seat shoulder that perfectly mates with the backseat of the bonnet, ensuring secure and reliable operation. The stem adheres to precise dimensional requirements as laid out in key specifications such as API 602.
9. GLAND AND FLANGE.The gland and gland flange assembly boasts a sophisticated two-piece design. This innovative self-aligning structure allows the flange to be tightened unevenly while the gland maintains its parallel alignment with both the stem and the stuffing box, ensuring optimal performance.
10. GLAND BOLTS AND NUTS.The steel/stainless steel gland bolt and nut assembly features a robust stud, double nut arrangement. This thoughtful design facilitates complete removal from the valve for maintenance. Industry-standard thread full-length studs and nuts make replacement straightforward in case of loss or wear.
11. YOKE SLEEVE.Crafted from forged stainless steel, the yoke sleeve offers exceptional resistance to wear and corrosion, combined with a high melting point for enhanced durability.
12. HANDWHEEL.The handwheel is engineered from forged carbon steel and features an open spoke design. This robust construction, paired with precise sizing, guarantees ease of operation.
